CULL PORTAL + PROFFER
RECORD SLEEVE, INNER SLEEVE, LOGO + DESIGN
In 2023 Gorst created his first record sleeve for outstanding debut Aria-nominated Jazz Album of the Year – Cull Portal by Lance Gurisik. And a year later for his follow-up record Proffer. For both projects, Gorst's photomontages adorn front and back covers and inner sleeves, as well as his graphic design/typography layouts.
Cull Portal’s music is mix of dreamy contemporary Jazz and electronica, whereas Proffer’s soundscapes also include minimal/Eastern drum’n’bass beats, so the design needed to reflect each sound style.
Other music designs include official cover art for digital single One Way Ticket by JAG-B, Digi-pak CD + logo for MusicSoundDance, proposed album + single covers for SAJA + SOFTLIGHTES on Modular Recordings.
Also a mock ups for a new collections by THE SMITHS, CYNDI LAUPER, MARIANNE FAITHFULL, DAVID BOWIE and more!
